When is parchment expected
Some parchment types are expected to exist upon completion of an enrolment. This may vary depending on how the enrolment completes (successful, unsuccessful or cancelled) and on the existence of successful module enrolments.
The full rules for when a parchment type is expected are as follows.

Certificate expected
A Certificate is expected for any enrolment:
- that is Completed Successfully and
- contains at least one successful module enrolment and
- whose course has a Level of Education in the following list:
- Level of Educations
- 211 Graduate Diploma
- 221 Graduate Certificate
- 311 Bachelor Degree (Honours)
- 312 Bachelor Degree (Pass)
- 411 Advanced Diploma
- 413 Associate Degree
- 421 Diploma
- 511 Certificate IV
- 514 Certificate III
- 521 Certificate II
- 524 Certificate I
- 611 Year 12
- 613 Year 11
- 621 Year 10
Statement of Attainment expected
A Statement of Attainment is expected in two circumstances:
- partial completion of courses that would normally expect a certificate
- completion of courses specifically expecting a Statement of Attainment
Statement of Attainment expected for partial completion
A Statement of Attainment (partial completion) is expected for any enrolment:
- that is Completed Unsuccessfully or Cancelled and
- contains at least one successful module enrolment and
- whose course has a Level of Education listed above for Certificate expected.
Statement of Attainment expected for other
A Statement of Attainment is expected for any enrolment:
- that is Completed Successfully and
- contains at least one successful module enrolment and
- whose course has a Level of Education in the following list:
- Level of Educations
- 991 Statement of Attainment Not Identifiable by Level
- 992 Bridging and Enabling Courses Not Identifiable by Level
Statement of Participation expected
A Statement of Participation is expected for any enrolment:
- that is Completed Successfully and
- contains at least one successful module enrolment and
- whose course has a Level of Education in the following list:
- Level of Educations
- 912 Other Non-award Courses
No parchment expected
No parchments are expected for enrolments in courses with Level of Education in the following list:
- Level of Educations
- 999 Education not elsewhere classified
